This interactive guide works best with JavaScript turned on. Here is the text version (7 flows, 41 steps).
1. Make your account
- Become a teacher — Open education360.online/teach — or Become a teacher at the foot of the website. The application has six short steps.
- Step 1: your account — Type your name, email and mobile / WhatsApp, choose a password and tick the box. You sign in with this email and password.
- Check your email — Tap Create my account and continue. We send a link to your email. Send the link again and Wrong email? Change it are here too.
- Open the link — Open the link in the email. Your email is confirmed and step 2, About you, opens. The line at the top shows the step and your progress.
2. Fill in the steps
- About you — Choose your gender, city and the languages you teach in. A photo is optional — it uploads the moment you choose it.
- What you teach — Tap Next. Tick the areas you teach, name your subjects in your own words and tick the levels of your students.
- Your experience — Tap Next. Your qualification, years teaching and a few lines on how you teach. A CV is optional — only the office sees it.
- Saved as you type — Everything you type is saved every few seconds — the line under Next says when. No signal? It says so, and saves when you are back online.
- Your steps — Tap Steps at the top to see all six. A tick means done; you can open any finished step to change it.
3. Finish my application
- Areas — Optional. Tick the areas you teach in. For example: Science and Mathematics.
- Subjects and courses you would teach — In your own words, what you would teach and to whom. For example: Nazra Quran for children; O-Level Physics.
- Levels — Optional. Tick every level you can teach. For example: Matric and Intermediate.
- Next page — Press Next. I will save this page and take you to the next one.
- Highest qualification — Your highest degree or certificate, and where it is from. For example: MSc Physics, Punjab University.
- Years teaching — Optional. How many years you have taught. For example: 5.
- About you as a teacher — How you teach, who you have taught, and results you are proud of. Two sentences or more. For example: I teach Maths in small steps.
- Short intro video (optional) — A link to a 1–2 minute video of you. It helps a lot. For example: a YouTube link.
- CV (optional) — Your CV as a PDF or Word file, up to 5 MB. Only our office sees it.
- Next page — Press Next. I will save this page and take you to the next one.
- Each week — One row for each day you are free: the day, from and to, in Pakistan time. For example: Monday, 16:00 to 20:00.
- Add a time — Press Add a time for each other day you are free. A new row opens under the last one.
- Anything else about your times (optional) — Anything we should know about when you can teach. For example: Not free in Ramadan evenings.
- What would you expect to earn? (optional) — What you hope to be paid; we agree pay with each teacher. For example: Rs 60,000 a month, or a share of fees.
- Next page — Press Next. I will save this page and take you to the next one.
- Check your answers — Read your answers. If something is wrong, press Change beside it.
- Finish — When every step has a tick, press Send. We read your application and call or email you.
4. Save and finish later
- Save and finish later — Need to stop? Tap Save and finish later, under Next.
- Kept for you — You see what is kept, step by step. Sign in any time and you land on your application. We remind you once if you do not come back.
- Sign in again — Later — even on another device — open education360.online/login and sign in with your email and password.
- Back where you stopped — Click Sign in. Your application opens at the step where you stopped, with what you typed. On a computer the steps are listed at the side.
5. Check and send
- When you can teach — Tap Next. Add the days and times you are free each week, in Pakistan time. Add a time adds another row.
- Check your answers — Tap Check answers. Every step is shown with Change beside it — tap it to fix something, then come back here.
- Send — All correct? Tap Send at the bottom.
- Sent — My application shows where it is: Sent, Shortlisted, then Approved. We tell you by app and email when it moves.
6. Your application and the office’s messages
- Where your application is — Sign in and you land on My application. Here the office has shortlisted it and will call to arrange a short interview.
- What you sent — What you sent shows your answers, with your photo and CV. Only the office sees them.
- A message from the office — When the office writes to you, it is under Messages — and we tell you. Here they ask for a short demo lesson.
- Reply — Type your answer and tap Send. The office is told and answers here.
7. Qalam, your helper
- Qalam sits in the corner — The pencil in the bottom corner is Qalam, your helper (bottom left in Urdu). Tap it to ask what a step is for.
- Show me how to finish — Tap Qalam → Show me how to… → Finish my application. Qalam rings the steps, Next and Save and finish later. Stop ends it.
- Find a task — Find a task: type one word, in English or Urdu — message, application — and tap a result.
